Lenvat 10 (Lenvatinib) 10 mg
Lenvat 10 mg is the highest strength capsule of the kinase inhibitor Lenvatinib.
Manufacturer: Natco Pharma (India). A generic equivalent of Lenvima, manufactured to global quality standards.
Purpose of the 10 mg Dose:
Designed to reduce the "pill burden" for patients requiring high daily dosages. For example, a patient prescribed 24 mg daily can take just three capsules (2x10mg + 1x4mg) instead of six small ones. This improves patient compliance and comfort.

Indicated for:
- Differentiated Thyroid Cancer (DTC): Radioiodine-refractory. Standard starting dose is 24 mg daily.
- Renal Cell Carcinoma (RCC): Advanced kidney cancer (with Everolimus). Standard dose is 18 mg daily.
- Dose modification for other cancers if required.
Strength: 10 mg per capsule.
Common Combinations:
- Target 24 mg: Take two 10 mg capsules + one 4 mg capsule daily.
- Target 20 mg: Take two 10 mg capsules daily.
- Target 18 mg: Take one 10 mg capsule + two 4 mg capsules daily.
⚠️ Administration: Take once daily at the same time, with or without food. Swallow whole.
- Uncontrolled Hypertension.
- Severe hepatic impairment (Child-Pugh Class C).
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding.
- History of gastrointestinal perforation or fistula.
Adverse events are common and may require dose interruption:
- Hypertension: Monitor blood pressure regularly.
- Proteinuria: Protein in urine.
- Diarrhea & Weight Loss.
