β οΈ STRICT DOSING SCHEDULE REQUIRED:
- Ramp-Up Phase: Therapy must NEVER start at 100 mg or 400 mg immediately! The dose is gradually increased over 5 weeks (starting at 20 mg) to prevent fatal Tumor Lysis Syndrome (TLS).
- Maintenance Dose: Typically 400 mg (four 100 mg tablets) once daily.
- Administration: Swallow tablets whole with a meal and water. Do not chew or crush.
- Missed Dose: If within 8 hours, take immediately. If more than 8 hours, skip and resume the next day.
- β Tumor Lysis Syndrome (TLS): Pre-treatment hydration and monitoring are mandatory.
