Calupros 50 mg (Bicalutamide) is a non-steroidal anti-androgen medication and a generic equivalent to Casodex. It works by binding to androgen receptors on the surface of tumor cells, thereby blocking the effects of testosterone which stimulates the growth of prostate cancer cells.

β οΈ APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS:
- Standard Dosage: 50 mg (one tablet) taken once daily.
- Administration: Swallow the tablet whole with water. Can be taken with or without food. Try to take it at the same time every day.
- Duration: Treatment is usually started at the same time as the LHRH analogue or surgical castration and is long-term.
- β Missed Dose: Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten tablet. Resume the normal schedule the next day.
