Binixen Tablets — Binimetinib 15 mg (90 Tabs) Everest
Binixen 15 mg (Binimetinib) is a targeted MEK inhibitor and a generic equivalent to Mektovi. It is specifically designed to treat melanoma with certain genetic mutations. The drug works by blocking MEK1 and MEK2 proteins, thereby interrupting the signaling pathway that drives cancer cell proliferation and survival.
Manufacturer: Everest Pharmaceuticals (Bangladesh). It is most effective when used as part of combination therapy (typically with encorafenib).
Key Features:
- ✅ Combination Power: Designed to work synergistically with BRAF inhibitors (encorafenib) for a stronger anti-tumor response.
- ✅ Signal Blockade: Selectively targets and inhibits the mechanisms causing melanoma cell division.
- ✅ Flexible Dosing: The 15 mg tablet allows for precise dosage adjustments if toxicity occurs.
Prescribed by oncologists specifically for the treatment of adult patients with:
